Since I have had a number of interactions with the editorial office, I must say the journal has very dedicated and responsible staffs. It maintains high scientific standards and the editor-in-chief is very respected in cardiovascular society.

It brings great pleasure and honor to me and to my colleagues to be associated with the Journal of Thoracic disease. I would like to congratulate the members of the editorial board and the organizers of the journal on its recent impact factor announcement. As thoracic surgery becomes a global group, I think the Journal of Thoracic Disease would provide yet another platform for us to learn and share our knowledge around the world.
Stephen Cassivi Editorial Board Member of JTD, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, USA
I have discovered the Journal of Thoracic Disease since a couple of months ago when I was asked to write a chapter for the special issue associated with video-assisted thoracic surgery. So we wrote the chapter about segmentectomy. And at the end I was very pleased by the way how the chapter was edited. It was of excellent quality. And I think the special issue in journal was of very good quality. So I’m pleased to hear that the journal will have the first impact factor and I’m quite sure that you will be very successful in the near future.
Dominique Gossot Editorial Board Member of JTD, Thoracic Department, Institut Mutualiste Montsouris, Paris, France
I can attest that the independent editor-in-chief and the editorial team are proactive, professional, and highly efficient in organizing the entire publishing process.

I hope JTD will continuously provide more academic information about the new development of thoracic surgery for people of the field of medicine, forging a better platform for everyone to share and communicate their knowledge and ideas and grow into a leading-edge academic journal representing the top level in Chinese thoracic field. I also hope everyone will grow simultaneously with the journal, getting better and better.
Wentao Fang Editorial Board Member of JTD, Department of Thoracic Surgery, Shanghai Chest Hospital, Shanghai, China
I just want to congratulate on the Journal of Thoracic Disease, a very new journal. This is a very good instrument to establish the communication between different countries in the world, especially between thoracic surgeons coming from east and west.
